Recycling Hero
Lisa,Lisa,Lisa! I opened my eyes looking at Kate’s face. she was yelling Lisa,Lisa, Lisa it’s the last day of school for the year. I sat up with wide eyes thinking it seemed just like it was yesterday I started the school year.
When I arrived at school everyone was celebrating, it was amazing but I was really nervous. I didn’t want to leave Parkland, all the teachers were so spectacular and I have lots of friends here at Parkland.
At the end of the school day Mrs Wilson gave us all candy canes. She gave us a really helpful message as well, don’t give up on your dreams and stand tall to what you think is right.
She walking home after school and that thing Mrs Wilson said kept flying through her mind then she saw a piece of cardboard. She ran down the path trying to pick it up. She finally got it and flipped it over, it had a message on it.
The message said don’t give up on your dreams and stand tall to what you think is right. It said the exact same thing Mrs Wilson said at school.
Lisa lay on her bed thinking about what had happened at school today, she thought about what she could do to make the world a better place. Then she remembered about the piece of cardboard and after she put it in the recycling bin that’s it,recycling! That is how I can help the world.
The next day she went out for a walk with two plastic bag to pick up the recyclable material around her area, she felt really good because she’s saving space in the landfill. She decided to make videos about recycling. Every week she would fill 4 bags of recycling. Then her friends started helping her.
After a couple of years, when she was in High School, she was known by everyone because of what she have done in the town. When she graduated she became really famous throughout the country for her recycling.
Later Lisa found her perfect job she made a company called space in the landfill. She started to have builders build a giant building for her company.
And from that day Lisa had lots of people work for her space in the landfill.
